The seller who is providing ECPay’s payment services to the buyer.

The contracted store who has signed a contract with ECPay for payment services.

A platform merchant who has signed a contract with ECPay for payment services.

HashKey / HashIV

Each MerchantID or PlatformID is assigned a corresponding HashKey and HashIV, which are used for encrypting and decrypting data during API transmissions. HashKey and HashIV are critical encryption key information. Please store them securely and prevent any unauthorized disclosure to avoid potential security vulnerabilities.

This refers to the 3D Secure authentication page provided by the issuing bank. When 3D Secure authentication is enabled, the cardholder will be redirected to the bank's 3D Secure authentication page during a credit card payment. At that point, the cardholder must enter the verification code sent by the bank to complete the 3D Secure authentication process.
